The K9 PTSD Center has been closed to the public for therapy for their loyal fur family members
since it began. Our focus for years has only been on Military and Police K9s that suffer from
C-PTSD I/II and other anxiety-fear-based behaviors. We are now pleased to announce that we will
be providing therapeutic options for the fur members of your family. We still offer our permanent
place option for both Military and Police K9s who suffer while performing their heroic duties to
keep all of us safe. Now, our level of expertise is available to anyone in need.
The K9 PTSD Center has one mission in mind: to cure canines with C-PTSD I/II. Due to the
overwhelming demand for these services, we are pleased to announce we will be opening the
center to ALL dogs, not only those that have served in military and law enforcement,
for expert evaluation.
Why inpatient evaluation is essential:
10% of the 115 million dogs in America suffer from C-PTSD I/II, though it often goes
unrecognized. The K9 PTSD Center has conducted research on this condition for years and literally
wrote the book on identifying C-PTSD I/II. We've also developed the first-ever evaluation for
diagnosis. No other center or organization can truly make this claim.
The benefits of C-PTSD I/II treatment:
- Quality of life - An expert in C-PTSD
I/II Anxiety Disorders conducts a 3-day evaluation to determine which treatment methods
will work best to alleviate your dog's psychological distress.
- Happiness - Your dog will return to you
with a treatment plan. As you patiently carry out its instructions and advice, the positive
impact of your loving care will be evident in your dog's demeanor.
- Early intervention - The sooner you get
your dog's help, the greater the chance we will be able to intervene before increased
negative behaviors develop.
- Peace of mind - Your quality of life is
also essential. Sleepless nights, fear about what might happen, and anxiety about the
situation can be a distant memory once your dog is on the path to healing.
- Comfort - It's harder to imagine a
greater sense of peace than seeing the animal you love go from a defeated, broken posture
to one of confidence and trust.
- Insurance - Proper treatment of C-PTSD
I/II protects you, those around you, and your dog from events that could have devastating
consequences.
- Prescreening for adoption - Learn what
to look for in behaviors before adopting a dog.
- Legal safeguards - With more than 5.5
million reported dog bites on humans yearly, and an inpatient evaluation can protect you
from legal issues related to your furry family member.
